These symptoms may include neck and back pain, deep shoulder strap grooving from the brassiere, and skin irritation. Breast reduction creates a smaller, lighter and firmer breast by removing skin, fat and glandular tissue. This creates a breast that is better shaped and proportionate to a woman's body.

Dr. Grover utilizes a short-scar technique for many of his breast reduction surgeries. This "vertical mammaplasty" technique avoids any scar beneath the breast, and provides a more shapely breast.

The procedure is performed using general anesthesia in either an inpatient or outpatient setting. The procedure may be covered by medical insurance if deemed medically necessary.
